Being in the World (2015)

Being in the World follows a young woman on a two-month train journey across China, where she meets strangers from a wide range of social backgrounds and asks them about their dreams, life paths, and choices. The film builds a layered portrait of everyday life in China and later revisits the same people ten years on to trace how their lives have changed.
